Welcome to the Jspresso demo area.

To experience the ergonomics of a Jspresso based application, you can launch the live demo of the Human Resources sample application. A detailed development walkthrough of this sample application is given in the Jspresso reference manual; refer to the documentation section.

You might be of course interested in the complete source code of this application which is available for download along with the framework distribution.

The demo application hosted here uses an in-memory database that is automatically refreshed every hour (the application server is actually restarted). So be aware that you might experience service interruptions. The server on wich the demo application is running also hosts the Jspresso site as well as the Jspresso Maven repository. It is a 1GB AMD box running Linux/Debian and operated in Paris, France.

As Jspresso is a multi-channel framework, you can launch the application either in Flex (using the Flash plugin), in Swing (using Java WebStart) or directly in in AJAX. The Flex front-end requires the Flash plugin (9 or higher). The Swing front-end requires Java 5.0 or higher with Java Web Start enabled. The latest Java runtime environment can be downloaded and installed from here.
